Seoul, the metropolitan city has more than 10 million people. Cause of fast growth, Seoul enlarged rapidly civilization and industrialization of Korea. Seoul also had to find some solutions for the result, lots of waste. Nanji-do was regarded as a solution and had been suffered with waste generated in Seoul from March, 1978.

Since a half of a century, this island had been filled with flowers and lots of birds taking a rest in the middle of their long travel. and Called 'island of flower'.  Nanji-do got a bad reputation as a dirtiest place in Seoul. The mountain of waste was mentioned as a symbol of human's cupidity. This is an irony made by human.

Now we tried to take it back to the past, regenerating the nature and the eco system of this island.  Waste is changing to a new material and Nanji-do is becoming a beautiful park to provide comfort to the nature and people.      This island had borne the dark memory of Seoul for 15 years.  To recover our destruction we have to spend more time and remind our faults. Here, we suggest to build the natural circulation exhibition hall. People who visit this place could think about the nature and eco system. We hope they would be a witness of our misunderstanding about the nature and keep their eyes on the effort to recover.
